This is where the inn "Zum Nordpol" stood until 1907
Built in 1907-8 in the historic Baroque style with Art Nouveau ornaments.
Transverse cubic 2-storey block on a high base floor under a mansard roof. At the entrance front a three-axis central risalit with balcony and elaborate gable field with the city coat of arms. On the other three sides, a simpler central risalit with gable. Inside, a large entrance hall with subsequent symmetrical staircase. Above the stairs a skylight with a large Prussian eagle painted on the glass. The glass painting is probably unique in Stormarn.

Due to the progressive development in the east and south of Reinfeld, the three communities of Steinhof, Neuhof and Reinfeld grew ever closer together, so that in 1925 they merged to form one community. The town of Reinfeld thus formed was granted city rights by law in 1926.
