Border Rose Guben

On November 11, 2018, two border roses were inaugurated in Gubin and Guben. / W dniu 11.11.2018 w Guben i w Gubinie uroczyście odsłonięto dwie róże graniczne.On the one hand, these are to be understood as a clear commitment of the twin cities to Europe, on the other hand, they represent an important reminder of two decisive events:
- 100 years end of the First World War,
- 100 years of the foundation of the Republic of Poland.
The small sculptures are especially intended to strengthen the idea of peace.
Border roses are now available in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland and Germany.
You can also find them in our Euroregion in Forst / Lausitz, Brody and Lubsko.
Another border rose was officially handed over to the public in Forst / Lausitz on November 9, 2018.
