Strada dell'Assietta

Fantastic dirt military road that runs along the side of the mountain connecting Sestriere to Colle delle Finestre. The overall difference in altitude is approximately 900 metres. Can be used with any type of gravel bike or mountain bike.

Strada dell’Assietta (Assietta-Kammstrtaße, SP 173), former military road with magnificent views of the Cottian Alps.
At Pian Dell'Alpe still paved, then unpaved. But also easy to navigate with luggage, you should be in good physical condition and sufficient fluids provided.
