The castle, dating back to 2000 BC, is one of the best preserved in the whole of the North East. It is characterized by a quadrangular plan with rounded corners. It is not known by whom it was built. There are those who believed it to be the work of the Barbarians of the Middle Ages, who seated the Roman military camp, who a village of the Eneti built against the Gallo-Meats. You can get to the castle from the asphalt road Mereto di Tomba - Savalons.
