These smaller ponds, artificially created in the Middle Ages, were used by the nobles for fish farming. Today they are left to their own devices, are used for recreation and offer a diverse living space.

This pond is in the Wagensaß and has been created artificially.
Since then it has been left in its natural state.... The frogs love this place very much and spawn here every year.... During this time, the Quakers hop en masse on the hiking trails :-D
