The Niersteiner Wartturm, also known as the Niersteiner Warte, is a medieval signal tower from the 12th century.
The tower is located north of the famous "Red Slope" in Nierstein. It is the symbol of Nierstein and the highest viewpoint of Nierstein. This makes the Niersteiner Wartturm a wonderful place to enjoy the view of the Rhine. (Excerpt from geschichtsverein-nierstein.de/fssiteseeing.htm)
The tower can be climbed, currently unfortunately not because of the corona crisis. Therefore the benches around the tower should not be used.

The Wartturm above the town of Nierstein, located north in the Red Hang, is the highest vantage point in the vineyards with an excellent panoramic view of Nierstein to the Donnersberg, the Hessian mountain road, the Taunus, Wiesbaden, Mainz and the Rhine-Main area ,
