The sources of the Wahnbach are at Drabenderhöhe, in the northern Mucher Land on the slope of the Heckberg. One of the sources of the Wahnbach is the twelve-meter-deep, stone-hewn fountain in the vaulted cellar of the “Green Barn” museum. The Wahnbach feeds the dam from which the Bonn / Rhein-Sieg / Ahr region receives a substantial proportion of its drinking water.
