Poffabro belongs to the municipality of Frisanco and is one of the 100 most beautiful villages in Italy. The painter Armando Pizzinato called it "an example of the most rational and imaginative spontaneous architecture of our Alpine foothills." The stone houses with wooden balconies, arches, and porticoes create an atmosphere of modest intimacy that blends well with the surrounding landscape.
It's a place worth planning a longer stay. Cycling through is far too fast; walking through allows you to see and appreciate much more. World-class!
