Skallingen

Beautiful beach. Here you can also hike very well and escape the hustle and bustle of Blåvand.

If you travel to this region, you should have explored Skallingen. Alone the approach on the single-lane way is something special. A little forethought is already required in order not to miss the respective alternative bays in oncoming traffic. At the end you will be rewarded with a nice, quiet beach.
If it is stormier, you should avoid Skallingen however. The way is then often flooded.

Skalling pure natural romance!
The forces of wind and water are extremely powerful here and cause the landscape to change constantly. No other place in the Wadden Sea National Park has such an extremely dynamic nature and biodiversity. At UNESCO, it was precisely these two main criteria that determined that the Wadden Sea from Den Helder in Holland to the Skallingen peninsula in West Jutland was described as a unique landscape that deserves to be included in the World Natural Heritage.
