The Kronprinzessinnenweg is one of the oldest bicycle roads in Berlin:

Since this is not used exclusively by bicycles, but also by inline skaters, joggers and runners, consideration is required.

Incidentally, the passage was closed during wall times and was used by the Allies. These came over these ways to their training area, which was also within this section.

The Kronprinzessinnen- and Königsweg are two adjoining paths in the southwest of Berlin, which are mostly led by the Grunewald and are an important section for cyclists to Wannsee and further southwest to Potsdam and today is one of the oldest bicycle streets in Berlin dar. The route is almost continuously accompanied by the Avus (city highway) on the eastern side. A special feature is that both ways, the royal road from the Auerbachtunnel shortly after the S-Bhf Grunewald on the road Am Eichkamp to Hüttenweg (about 2.5km) and then the Kronprinzessinnenweg from Hüttenweg to Havelchaussee (about 3.5km) , together about 6 kilometers are closed to motor traffic (mopeds excluded). Cars that strayed on the wider Kronprinzessweg, police cars on patrol and construction vehicles are rare exceptions.

The cars drive next to you on the Avus and you can enjoy free travel on fairly good asphalt with views of the forest.
There are branches in the direction of Krumme Lanke and the Havel.

Once a year, the AVUS belongs to the cyclists and will be banned separately.

The Kronprinzessinnenweg is really great for skating or cycling u.s.w the asphalt is top ... It is a bit noisy as it leads directly along the city highway

A highway for bicycles, so to speak, right next to the highway (Avus), which is why you have to live with the car noise when you drive here. The fastest way out of the city towards Wannsee / Potsdam. The path leads through the beautiful Grunewald and with its entire length of about 7 km from the train station Grunewald to Havelchaussee invites you to go fast, it only goes straight. At Havelchaussee you have to decide whether to continue towards Potsdam / Wannsee or to turn right onto the very beautiful and hilly Havelchaussee through the Grunewald (e.g. to the Grunewaldturm). Both are very beautiful, both can also be combined very well with the Kronprinzessinenweg.

🚴 Racing bike course, expressway for cyclists and skaters right next to the Avus with views of the Grunewald. There are tunnels to drive under. A wonderful connection towards Wannsee and Potsdam.

Beautiful bike path along the A115 a.k.a Avus along. There are many branches in the forest and under the highway through into the forest opposite. But you can also go out at the hut route regularly or drive through the whole route.

There are only cyclists, inline skaters, hikers, joggers ... etc. so take care;)

Nice bike path without traffic, fastest way to Wannsee / Potsdam if you want to be car-free. The path then continues as the Kronprinzessinenweg and ends at Havelchaussee. Here you have to decide whether you want to take Havelchaussee through the Grunewald or on to Wannsee / Potsdam, both are very nice, so the Königsweg can also be combined well with both. Since the path is always right next to the Avus, you have to live with the noise of the motorway. Still a great way, it is also fun to drive really fast here.

Absolutely beautiful route on 5 m wide asphalt path through the forest. The Avus is right next to it, but it is barely noticeable visually and acoustically 👍
