In 1972 the pictures on the houses of San Sperate were the first Murales in Sardinia. An artist from Mexico brought these special murals to Sardinia in 1970 after the Olympics. He lived in San Sperate and made the place known far beyond the island. All other murals on the island were all made after that.

Hiking
A really nice little place where Murali (wall paintings) play a big role. The houses are lovingly decorated with flowers and other accessories. Otherwise the place offers nothing. So if you don't like wall paintings, you don't need to make a detour here
