The Betty Bench is a weather shelter in the Bad Elster Forest Park. It is located at an elevation of 514 meters. Even before the park's design by garden inspector Paul Schindel, which began in 1892, a shelter built using log construction stood here in 1875. Later, a viewing platform was added. Around 1920, the shelter was replaced by a new one and renovated in 2018. It is an inviting place to rest on hikes or offer shelter in bad weather.
