There are several points from where you can get to the refuge, in our case we went up by E-bike from Tijarafe. No electricity or water, but a good, clean cabin in the shade of a good pine forest. Take the ascent from there to almost Roque de los Cuchachos very calmly, the positive slope in a short distance is difficult to find. Cemented road almost to the end.

Hiking

The Refugio Tinizara is idyllically situated next to the Traviesa vineyards. Two interesting paths cross, the La Traviesa from Torrel el Time to La Mata and the PR LP 12.1, via which you can hike to the Roque de Los Muchachos. Also suitable for long-distance hikers to stay overnight, open, but covered.
