Wilhelm Asche, born in Fallingbostel in 1882, provided the necessary space for the Löns memorial in the Tietlinger Wachholderhain and also for the Lönsgrab. When he died in 1955, he was buried near the Lönsgrabes.

The first memorial stone that can be found on the hill after entering is dedicated to the former owner of the area. Wilhelm Asche was a big fan of the heath poet Hermann Löns. Wilhelm Asche's grave is under this stone.
