Hiking

On the market square in front of the town hall there is a small fountain with four female griffins (or sphinxes?) holding coats of arms or inscriptions in their paws. But more impressive is the new Altmarkt fountain in Mügeln, the remains of which were discovered during construction work and which, after its redesign in 2005, stands conspicuously in a corner of the small square.
