The lake in Horster Moor was created in 1979 when the Maschen motorway junction was built. Dedicated members of the Horster Fisheries and Nature Conservation Association developed a landscape conservation area from bare sandy landscape, which has been a nature reserve since 2019. The lake lies in the middle of the Horster motorway triangle. This somewhat tarnishes the idyll.

Simply a wonderful place, as the people who stay and / or run around the lake. Are very close to nature. There is almost no rubbish, most of them stay on the paths. You can just let your mind wander and watch nature. I just hope it stays that way for a long time. Have fun relaxing. Your Hajo
