The track around the lake is really beautiful. However, I do not like driving the track with my racing bike, because the road has many bumps and potholes. Although it is pretty much on the edge of the river. On the north-east side it can be really uncomfortable. Although the traffic is limited because it is a toll road, but here are some bathers and especially divers on the way.

Beautiful flat climb on a quiet road with great scenery and stop in the Jachenau. Then along the toll road along Walchensee. Do not forget swimwear!

Really nice route! The asphalt is ok on the stretch. If you have managed the climb in front of Walchensee which is not too tragic, you can look forward to a nice long, shallow descent. On sunny days the Walchensee is super nice, unfortunately that does not detract from the fact that the asphalt around the Walchensee is not a hit.

Scenic dreamlike, in the sun turquoise blue water as in the Caribbean.
Can be crowded on nice weekends.

  • Absolutely great track with very beautiful nature and generally good asphalt and little motorized traffic. Here you can let it run properly. The asphalt is only a bit rough in the western end of the track :-).

  • I was surprised how big the lake is. The eastern shore, in my opinion, is much nicer than the west bank. There you will find turquoise-blue water and several possibilities and beaches for a rest. Every now and then an ice cream seller drives through the area.

Perfect track for training with great road surface along the main road. First up the Kesselberg then up the Walchenseerampe. Then only with slight slope direction Wallgau.

A wonderful tour around the Walchensee. However, the road surface is not in perfect condition.

  • In the sunshine an absolute dream. That's where Caribbean flair comes from. In the very east there is a sandy beach.

Beautiful route, partly rough asphalt, care in front of the park arts of tourists and city dwellers ...

A small toll road right on the lakeshore with lots of spots to stop and take a quick refreshing bath. But the road is kind of bumpy with rough asphalt and gravely/sandy stretches. Not the most comfortable route for roadbikes.

The lake is mostly so smooth in the morning as a mirror. Only at noon does the Termik come on. Great for windsurfing.
