The chapel on Steinhauck near Rothemann is located directly on the "Abtsweg", which leads from Fulda to Hammelburg. It was built in 1935 as a joint effort by the Rothemanner population. Subsequently, the frescoes were supplemented with representations of the especially revered saints in Rothemann. A memorial stone near the chapel commemorates the bombing and the American invasion at the end of the war.
