A sculpture erected in 2015 to commemorate the German writer Christa Wolf, born in pre-war Gorzów. The sculpture depicts a 15-year-old girl (Nelly) sitting on a sand bench, who is the heroine of the novel "Patterns of Childhood", in which Christa Wolf described her connections with Gorzów.
