A monument depicting the bust of Captain Witold Pilecki, one of the so-called Cursed Soldiers. It was unveiled in 2017. A brick from the prison wall on Rakowiecka Street in Warsaw (where Witold Pilecki was executed) and soil collected from the death pits on Łączka in Powązki (the site of a mass grave where the captain's ashes are believed to be) were placed in the pedestal of the monument.
