Shortly after entering the forest is the spot where Lieutenant Fleig hit a mine with his Sherman and blocked the Kall Trail. Some tanks also crashed here, as well as on the rock nose, which had to be laboriously removed by the pioneers because it narrowed the path extremely. It is located directly in front of the "Aid Station" on the right hand side.
