I can only agree with Bernd's comment about the "two crowns" on the towers – they make the church very special. However, it must be said that the towers didn't look so distinctive in the original design – their current form obviously only came about during the reconstruction after World War II, as can be clearly seen in photos of the earlier version: st-maximilian.de/pfarrkirche/index.html
