Who climbs the Reuterwanne and seeks some peace and mountain solitude, should integrate the Pfeifferberg in his tour. In contrast to the Reuterwanne the Pfeifferberg is quite rarely climbed. Especially towards the south, the Pfeifferberg also offers beautiful views. Towards the north, however, the wooded ridge prevents visibility.
Directly at the summit cross is a small bench.

Fantastic view from the Pfeifferberg to the Alps, from the Ammergau mountains across to the Tannheimer to the Allgäu main ridge

In contrast to Reuterwanne, this summit is probably climbed much less often. Off the beaten track, on the border between Bavaria and Tyrol, it waits with a sensational view to the south.
The way from the south-west to the summit is sometimes not easy to find, but quite ok.
On the descent to the east, I constantly had to duck away from the low-hanging mountain pine mountain pines and jump over the roots.
Please do not get this wrong,
they are only directions from me, I like such lonely paths.
The forest here, the view, the whole atmosphere on the meadow at the summit cross is wonderfully inspiring and powerful!
