Bad Berka Spa Town

The spa town is certified as a location with spa treatment. Bad Berka has made a name for itself beyond the borders of Germany as a center of medical competence (e.g. central clinic as an acute clinic and the three median clinics as spa facilities for follow-up treatment and rehabilitation). The history of the spa and the bathing establishment Berka, founded in 1813, is closely linked to the work of Goethe (Wikipedia).
