Braaker Mühle Windmill

The Braaker mill can be visited every Saturday from 7: 00-12: 00.

The listed Dutch gallery windmill from 1849 can be visited, weddings and other celebrations are also possible there. But above all, the active windmill is the landmark and figurehead of the bakery of the same name. This means that the family-run mill produces a large part of the raw materials for its own and also family-run bakery, which then, among other things, be sold in the farm shop

The historic windmill in Braak
In 1849, an octagonal gallery Dutch windmill was built on the Röthberg south of the village of Braak. The Braaker Mühle - the landmark of the bakery - still stands today and was listed as a historical monument in 1983. Extensively restored in the 1990s, the historic and still productive windmill is now looked after by the Braker Mühle e.V. association.
