The site of the "Rich Girl from Molzbach" is located here.
The investigation of the burial mound on Bomberg near Molzbach in the summer of 1931 brought a sensation: the richest girl's grave of the Bronze Age in Hesse in an almost inconspicuous hill. And this was only a subsequent burial, because the hill was originally created for a man.
This burial became known as the "girl from Molzbach" because her age was initially estimated to be around 12 to 14 years. Today it is believed that the deceased was around 20 years old. [
The finds can be viewed in the Konrad Zuse Museum in Hünfeld.

The site itself is no longer recognizable and unspectacular. The discovery is explained on an information board. There is a bench available.

Discovered something interesting again. Who would have suspected an old burial site there?
