        The Evangelical-Lutheran St. Bartholomew's Church in Selva goes back to a late medieval predecessor and is located in the immediate vicinity of Selva Castle. It was built in its present form after the town fire of 1687 in the Saxon late Baroque style. The choir room in the east, built in 1648, has been preserved as the oldest part of the previous building. The rectangular nave was completed in 1689 and the 35 m high tower in 1710. The interior of the church is classical.
