The church is worth seeing both inside and out. I was lucky that the door was open. The ceiling design and the many paintings in the gallery are particularly impressive. The pretty half-timbered houses complete the ensemble.

The Baroque, Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Holy Trinity was built in 1654 on the site of a fortified church dating from the 13th century. It features a richly decorated coffered ceiling with 240 panels. The pulpit and altar date from the second half of the 17th century. The baptismal font (1839) is made of Crottendorf marble. Together with the cantor's school (1658–1663) and the rectory, the church forms a remarkably well-preserved architectural ensemble from the 17th century.
