In Conversation Fountain

During the construction of the pedestrian zone in 1996, this fountain with the title “In Conversation” was created by the artist Margot Garutti.
Born in Hamburg in 1946. Training a.d. University of Fine Arts in Bremen. Free art study center Ottersberg/Bremen, qualified art teacher and art therapist. Professional Association of Visual Artists Lower Franconia, Artistic Advisory Board in the Würzburg Art Association.
Solo and group exhibitions in Würzburg, (city gallery), Frankfurt, Nuremberg (German National Museum), among others.

This fountain was placed in the pedestrian zone that was newly built in 1996. This fountain with the title "In Conversation" was created by the artist Margot Garutti and signals the importance of the central market square as a meeting place for young and old, citizens and guests in the city center.

The three people and the child stand in the rain all day long in glorious sunshine. This is a really beautiful, original fountain and a real eye-catcher.
