The Kastanienallee in the palace park is the line of sight from Fürstenhof to Bellevue. Really nicely laid out, always worth a visit.

        Be inspired by nature:
Impressive flower beds, impressive rose arrangements and lush tree plantings are based on traditional structures, as is the strictly box-shaped avenue of chestnut trees and the arcade.
The transition from nature to architecture is fluid and blends harmoniously into the elegant castle park as a fairytale, historical building ensemble.
The creation of the gardens in the Bad Brückenau state spa dates back to 1747.
At that time, the Italian court architect of the prince abbots of Fulda, Andrea Gallasini, designed a strictly symmetrical garden, the main feature of which was the central axis, which to this day extends across the Sinntal.
Over the course of time, additions have been made to the building ensemble - especially by King Ludwig I, who used the state baths 26 times as a summer residence.
These construction measures also resulted in an expansion of the palace park.
The special appeal lies in the contrast between unspoilt nature, adjacent meadows and forests and this stately park.
All new plantings and the maintenance by the gardeners of the state bath are based on the previous structure.
The trees in the park are numerous, rare species can be admired.
Visitors marvel at the "thousand-year-old oak tree" in the medicinal herb garden with a circumference of seven meters, the gingko tree, the cucumber magnolia and the "oak-leaved hornbeam" - a rarity.
With the tree register created in 1992, which contains location and care instructions, the gardeners keep track of the stock of around 60 tree species.
