Beautiful gastronomy right on the market

The former post office on the market square stands out from the row of gabled houses as a two-storey half-timbered house with a hipped roof at the entrance to Große Straße. The old post office is one of the historic houses in Lingen. This building, which is centrally located on the market square, housed the post office (post office), which had existed in Lingen since 1550. The stables on the back still indicate this use today.

The old post office has been used as a restaurant since it was renovated in 1980. The stylish restaurant still reveals much of the old interior design.

In the spring of 2012, the roof and facade of this listed building were renovated.
