Rochehaut takes its name from its unique location with one of the most beautiful panoramas in the country. Located at the end of a plateau, on a rocky promontory, the wooded slope extends to the plain of Laviot. From Rochehaut you can look down on two valleys. In one of these valleys, a loop of the Semois surrounds the picturesque village of Frahan, with its characteristic chapel, slate-roofed houses and tobacco drying places.
