Since Easter 1984, when the first rare and second-hand book market was held in the Ardennes, Redu has welcomed book lovers from all over the world. One of the keys to its success is its beautiful location in richly vegetated nature. That is why you can enjoy pleasant walks in the streets of the village and in the forests that surround it at any time of the year.
Today, the village has about fifteen bookshops specializing in the most diverse subjects in different languages: nature, literature, history, travelogues, music, archaeology, comics, children's books, etc.
