Hiking

At Seevesiel an arm of the Seeve flows into the Elbe. Wikipedia: It has as Siel Schlagtore on, but also storm-proof lift gates. That is why it is officially called "Sperrwerk and Siel". In 2004, the system was automated. It is always closed when the water level of the Elbe rises above the Seeve. The Siel opens automatically again, as soon as the water level of the Elbe falls under the Seeve again.
