Scree saddle between the Piz Blaisun and the Kesch massif, connects the Val d'Es-cha with the Val Plazbi. The pass route is marked as a mountain path from the Chamanna d'Es-cha to Chants and Bergün. It can be used as an alternative connection between the two SAC huts Es-cha and Kesch if the shorter, alpine route via the Porta d'Es-cha does not seem advisable (e.g. if the advanced melting of the Vadret Porchabella would require crampons).
