The five reconstructed columns of the Temple of Apollo are a popular destination and photo opportunity among the visitors of Side. It was built in the 2nd century BC. Consecrated to Christ and the god of light Apollo, next to him was a larger structure, the Temple of Athena. In the evening is the best time for a visit, you have the chance to admire the sunset behind the temple.
