Since 2012, the Jägerhaus Groß Schönebeck forest schools, the FledermausWaldschule Reiersdorf and the Schwedt forest cabinet have merged to form the Schorfheide Forest Adventure Worlds. These three forest education institutions belong to the Brandenburg State Forestry Agency. The aim is to bring children and young people from kindergartens and schools in the surrounding area closer to the forest. Imparting knowledge and experience about the forest ecosystem and its sustainable use are the core tasks of the employees on site. Through the experience of “self-experience”, the forest school visitors learn sustainably and with joy.
