St Blane's Chapel is an atmospheric ruin nestled in a valley at the southern end of the Isle of Bute. The chapel was built in the 13th century and its churchyard contains a number of grave slabs from the time when Bute was part of the Norse Empire. From the picturesque rocky hollow, you get breathtaking views that stretch as far as the Isle of Arran and the Holy Isle.
