Pre bike buying Sunny Killinghall/ Ripley/ Hampsthwaite loop
Went for a lovely walk with my girl and the mad spaniel, before going to Chevin cycles to buy the small person a new bike for her birthday. Ended up buying B her first MTB. Expensive walk 🤣

Old Durham Gardens – View of Durham Cathedral loop from Durham
Stopped in Durham after seeing Blacktop Mojo in Newcastle (If you haven’t heard them, check them out). Route was good but if I had more time would have adapted more to utilise footpaths instead of roads. Made a few tweaks as I went though.

Ripon-Masham-Bedale loop in heavy wind
Well that was tough. The head and cross winds were really bad. At one point I was coming down hill around 28mph. Went round the bend and the head wind slowed me to 11mph. Proper air brakes 🤣 glad I persevered though as return section of loop wasn’t as bad.

Way of the Roses and NCN 688 Ripon Loop
First ride out on my new road bike. What a difference to my old, 15year old bike. Typical of me though. I think I over did it on the distance as not rode out for a while.
