Bonifatius pedestrian traffic lights (Fulda Cathedral area)

A saint guides pedestrians in Fulda across the street:
The city has installed traffic light men in the shape of Boniface at its first intersection.
On the traffic sign near the cathedral, the red Boniface raises his cross in warning – similar to the monument in the city at Bonifatiusplatz.
When the light turns green, he marches off with his shepherd's crook.
