Great, well-surfaced, traffic-free cycle path that runs north from Meadowhall shopping centre to Ecclesfield. It's totally flat and much nicer than riding on the roads that run parallel with it.
It can be joined up to the five-weirs walk at Meadowhall to provide a virtually traffic-free route all the way into Sheffield city centre if you head west, or to Rotherham town centre if you head east. It's suitable for any type of bike and also fine for kids.
