Hiking

The seven-story main tower of the manor house of the New Castle Steinach from 1907, the so-called Wolfsdrüssel Tower, was the only part of the main building to survive the fire of April 23, 1945, which the Nazis set to destroy the NSDAP personnel files from the party chancellery stored here. The two bunker facilities, built in February 1945 to protect the employees of the NS party headquarters under the code name "Übersee", are also largely preserved.
