The five-story pagoda was originally built in 1407 and restored in 1533. The main deity anchored here is the Buddha of Medicine, accompanied by the Buddhist Saints Fugen and Monju. However, the Buddhist images that symbolize the deity and the saints were removed in the early Meiji era.
