Tips
The Heilbronner Kreuz recalls the sad history of the Heilbronn school class, who were surprised in the spring of 1954 during their walk to Krippenstein by a weather fall. Suddenly large amounts of snow fell and the ten students and three teachers were killed in the accident. The cross is at the place where later the school class was found.

Very easy to reach cross, on a superbly developed hiking trail. the way there is laid out in such a way that no alpine experience is necessary to walk it. However, you should always keep an eye on the weather at this altitude.
