Nordic walking

The old harbor was an important transshipment point for Rhine shipping in the 19th century. When the Karlsruhe Rhine harbor began operations in 1901, the harbor lost importance and the transshipment of goods came to a standstill. Today, it is a popular and very idyllic recreational area on the edge of the Rhine meadows.
