In the nature reserve you will experience a fantastic landscape of heathland, inland dunes, pine forests, sand-dried lawns and junipers. With a little luck, you might even see colorful butterflies fluttering around among the flowers of the dry grass. There is also a nature trail in Wacholderhain, where you can learn more about the flora and fauna at 13 stations.
