The source of the Kraichbach is in a small, well-kept garden in the playground of the elementary school in Sternenfels.
This is also where the Kraich-RW begins, a nearly 65 km long signposted cycle path that accompanies the stream from its source to its mouth in Ketsch am Rhein.
