The Bettenauer pond is located in the municipality of Oberuzwil in the canton of St. Gallen. Located outside the village center in the direction of Jonschwil, the pond is a popular local recreation area. The "Betti", as the pond is called by the locals, lies at an altitude of 586 meters above sea level. The moor pond has a length of almost 500m and a width of 100m, while it is a maximum of two meters deep.
