Bike Touring Highlight
A very nice little village with a wonderful view of the Cape Arkona. Unfortunately, anything but unknown and therefore, especially in the warm months, often very crowded. The small houses have often been converted into snacks or souvenir shops.
Nonetheless worth seeing.

Vitt, a small idyllic fishing village on the east coast of the Wittow Peninsula.
Vitt can be reached via the Hochuferweg from Kap Arkona or via the road from Putgarten. But only on foot, with the Arkona Bahn or by bike.
There is freshly smoked fish right by the sea.
A small souvenir shop invites you to shop for gifts and in the café by the sea there is (as the name suggests) coffee and ... delicious homemade cakes.
Also interesting and worth a visit is the Vitter Chapel above the village, which was built between 1806 and 1816 based on a design by Schinkel.
There is currently a dispute about the new color scheme of the chapel.
