The most famous symbol of the Weckelsdorf Rock City is the rock crown, which hardly leaves any visitor unimpressed. From every perspective, this rock formation appears imposing and majestic. The first ascent to its summit was made on June 7, 1927, by Rudolf Kaden and Fritz Wiesner, who thus became the first to conquer one of the Weckelsdorf Rocks.

We visited both rock areas. Over the yellow way (the Wolfsschlucht) we hiked from Adersdorf to Weckelsdorf and it was worthwhile. It went over stairs and ladders through narrow rocks and then over lath bridges through a wetland to Weckelsdorf.
